A Tough Week For Wine Country

Hello Friends,

As I’m sure you’re well aware, Napa and Sonoma are currently being devastated by multiple wildfires.

Fires as of 9pm Monday

Many neighborhoods have been destroyed, countless vineyards burned and several wineries have been lost. The smoke is so thick in places you can’t see more than a few blocks. Thousands are without power or cell phone service. Just this morning I had to check emails from a department store parking lot that had wifi.

I wanted to reach out to let you know that Tim, myself our family and the Portalupi team are safe and accounted for. The fires are still going, and all we can do know is try to help our neighbors in any way we can. This is a close knit community of farming families, and the outpouring of support has been incredible.

We are still proceeding with club shipments and are currently assessing vineyards. Luckily 75% was picked before the fires. I apologize if you’ve been trying to reach us, but cell service has been down and power has been spotty. To those who have checked in on us, thank you!

If you’d like to help, GoFundMe has created a page for all the campaigns currently running to assist fire victims. Click the link below to visit and lend a hand.

Keep Napa and Sonoma in your hearts. This isn’t over yet, but we’ll get through it.

Thank you!

Jane & Tim Portalupi
