HARVEST 2025: The 2025 harvest was shaped by a cool, balanced growing season that many growers are calling one of the most successful in recent years. A wet winter with minimal frost set up healthy vines, followed by a spring and summer with moderate temperatures and fewer heat spikes, allowing grapes to ripen slowly and evenly with good acidity and flavor development. Harvest began on schedule in mid-August, continued through September and into October, and yields were generally good to excellent, with some blocks even producing slightly larger crops than average. Growers noted uniform ripening across vineyard blocks and strong flavor profiles emerging in both red and white varieties. A forecast of fall rains prompted some accelerated picking, but overall fruit quality was high, and many winemakers are optimistic about the balance and structure of the 2025 vintage.
