The Portalupi Team
Jane and Tim grew up in a small coastal town in Northern California. They first knew each other as children and developed an early childhood fondness for each other. Their strong bond was never forgotten and when the opportunity to reunite as adults happened, they fell in love, and were married. They founded Portalupi Wine in 2002. With Tim’s decades in the wine industry and Jane’s experience in fashion retail marketing, they decided to pool their talents and share the passion that they have for each other into their own brand.
Since their founding of Portalupi, Jane and Tim welcomed Carolyn as part of the team. Carolyn’s dedication and passion for Portalupi Wine led her to become a Portalupi partner. She is now the Tasting Room Director and handles all Wine Club operations.
Portalupi is also lucky to have two incredible women on staff in the tasting room, Maria and Jan- whose passion for the Cal-Ital lifestyle and Portalupi Wines runs deep.
We are also so grateful for all of the Portalupi team who are behind the scenes that keep operations running strong and help us produce our incredible Cal-Ital wines.
